The Hoverboard is a project made by Nils guadagnin, a young french artist. It is a copy of the hoverboard from the movie Back to the Future II. Integrated into the board and the plinth is an electromagnetic system which levitates the board. A laser system stabilises the object in the air.

Can you imagine trying to skate with this lol. it would be so awesome.. have to relearn everything but it would be such a great feeling.
This is so cool, but imagine if this was actually made easily available, what will happen to skateboarding then?
well this wouldn't really be the future of skateboarding.. although a kickflip would still be called a kickflip.
k grind's and 5050's would become impossible because you are hovering. no contact..
still it would be cool if this went into mass production. I am sure they would cost a bomb..
Can automobiles hover like this thing yet? Cause they should! all the pollution problems with oil..
